Sally Archer Brantley

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sally Archer Brantley, age 98, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Marie Baptist Church with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. Elder Kenneth Brantley and Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.

Mrs. Brantley was born on August 12, 1925, in Washington County to the late Baxter Hines Archer and Willie Fair Archer. Her husband of 60 years, Eddie E. Brantley, predeceased her. Mr. and Mrs. Brantley lived in Warner Robins for 60 years and were active members of Second Baptist Church for many years. She was a homemaker and worked for a few years at Robins Air Force Base. She loved to cook, sew, and work in her flower garden. Mrs. Brantley passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Addington Place of Dublin.

Mrs. Brantley was also predeceased by seven of her eight siblings, Grover Archer, Rubye Archer Brantley, Wilbur Archer, Dewey Archer, Virginia Archer Jones, Herman Archer and Cohen Archer.

Mrs. Brantley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Barbara Brantley of Gainesville; her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Danny Underwood of Wrightsville; a sister, Patsy Archer Tilson of Hinesville; grandchildren, Laura (John) Dickson, Lawton (Susan) Brantley, Leslie (Wesley) Ryals, and Crystal (Jason) Walker, and great-grandchildren, Isaac Dickson, Aaron Dickson, Jacob Dickson, Lily Grace Dickson, Reuben Dickson, Adam Brantley, Tyler Brantley, Grayson Ryals, Faira Walker, and Livi Wren Walker.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, Dublin, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Adam Brantley, Tyler Brantley, Isaac Dickson, Aaron Dickson, Jacob Dickson and Reuben Dickson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Archer, Joel Jones, Harlan Archer, Mitch Archer, Lynn Archer, Arnold Ivey, and Rickey Brantley.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
