Samantha Scott

Memorial services for Samantha Chester Scott, age 47, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Pastor Nate Dooley will officiate.

Mrs. Scott was born on August 12, 1976, in Cumming, Georgia to the late Clinton and Charldine Green Chester. She grew up in Dawsonville, graduating from Dawsonville High School in 1995, and served in the United States Army. She was a resident of Dublin since 2017 and prior to her extended illness she attended Liberty Church. She was a loving wife and mother. She had a passion for cooking and loved to share her food with others. Mrs. Scott passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent Macon.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Scott, II of Dublin; two sons, Mack Scott and Liam Scott of Dublin; sister, Rebecca Gorski (Robert) of Dawsonville; brother, Mike Chester (Sandra) of McDonough; aunt, Hattie "Tiki" Green of Dawsonville; and her nieces and nephew, Katelyn Gorski, Alexander Gorski and Amelia Gorski.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
