Sammy Price

Funeral services for Mr. Samuel "Sammy" Moore Price, age 77, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Chad McDaniel officiating. Mr. Price was born July 15, 1939 in Wrightsville, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Arlie Clifton Price and Minnie Bedingfield Price and his wife, Fredine Moore Price. He was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church and was a farmer. Mr. Price was a graduate of Wrightsville High School where he played basketball and ran track. He also attended the University of Georgia where he played baseball. He graduated from Georgia Southern College with a degree in business. Mr. Price passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016. He is survived by his two sons, Cliff Price and Clay Price both of Orlando. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
