Sara Betty Mcafee

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Betty Jones McAfee, age 83, will be held Friday April 28th at 2 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Sumner will officiate.

Betty was born September 19, 1939 in Jefferson County. She was self-employed and owned several businesses over the years including Cha-Chi's gift shop in Wrightsville, GA. She had a spunky, outgoing personality and will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and friends, and especially the way she so lovingly "spoiled" her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, the late Howard Jones, her mother, Alma Upton, her husband, Clifford, a grandson, Paul McAfee, and a granddaughter, Joanna McAfee. Mrs. McAfee passed away Sunday afternoon, April 23, 2023, at Wrightsville Manor.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Tina McAfee of Wrightsville; Jeff and Misty McAfee of Destin, Florida; and two grandchildren, Bailey (Ben) Daniel and Chelsea McAfee, and two great-grandchildren Levi and Aubrie Kate Daniel.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening April 27rd from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
