Sara "Connie" Morrison

Memorial services for Sara Constance "Connie" Morrison, age 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Chapelwood Methodist Church in Athens, Georgia. Rev. Kathy Lamon will officiate.

Mrs. Morrison was born on February 14, 1955, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was a secretary for American Pest Control. She was a member of Chapelwood Methodist Church and the UGA Cheer Leading Booster Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reese and Ann Ledford Conley. Mrs. Morrison passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Piedmont Macon.

She is survived by her daughter, April (Darryl) Johnson of Macon; brother Chuck (Cheryl) Conley of Sylvania; and two grandchildren, Reese Johnson and Charlie Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday after the memorial service at the church.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of arrangements.
