Sara Elizabeth Oliver

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Oliver, age 80, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Tucker's Grove Holiness Church with interment to follow at Westview cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Smith and Rev. Matt Reese will officiate. Mrs. Oliver was born March 8, 1936 in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Walter Hall and Bessie Hadden Hall, three brothers, W. M. Hall, Lanier Hall, and Themedge (Shorty) Hall. She was retired from Sumner Pharmacy and kept her grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many other children. She was a member of Tuckers Grove Holiness Church. Mrs. Oliver passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016 at her home. She is survived by Baker Oliver, loving husband of 60 years, of Wrightsville, son, Bruce (Robin) Oliver of Wrightsville, daughter, Lynn (Donnie) Carter of Wrightsville, brothers, William (Earnestine) Hall, Herbert (Grace) Hall, and Bobby (Debra) Hall, all of Wrightsville, sisters, Marjorie (William) Cranford, Carlene Smith, and Betty (Jimmy) Pitts, all of Dublin, and Linda Strickland of Dudley, six grandchildren, Krystal (Jim) Tanner, Kasey (Lindsey) Carter, Kelli (Jimmy) Johnson, Will Oliver, Brittany Barfield, and Alana Oliver, and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kasey Carter, Will Oliver, Jim Tanner, Jimmy Johnson, Colton Kersey, and Dakota Prince. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jean Sumner, Dr. Joe Sumner, Dr. Caitlin Collier, Buddy Caneega, Amy Caneega, Brett Caneega, Allie Caneega, Chris Fields, Cori Fields, Ethan Fields, Nathaniel Fields, Lucas Fields, Grayson Kersey, Jenny Kersey, Madison Kersey, and Robbie Williams. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, Wrightsville, Georgia. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made in memory of Mama Sara to Tucker's Grove Holiness Church building fund, 4393 Tuckers Grove Church Road, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096.
