Sarah Wylene Hester

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Wylene Hester, age 79, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 10, 2015 at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Robert Rogers will officiate. Mrs. Hester was born February 4, 1936 in Dublin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Wyman and Sarah Coin Fowler. She was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and was a former educator in the Laurens County and Treutlen County School systems. Mrs. Hester passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Rayford J. Hester of Dublin, two sons, Jeb Stuart Hester of Dunlap, TN and Rayford F. Hester of Dublin, a grandson, Tyler Hester and a sister, Jamie Thompson of Rome. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris Crawford, Sonny Hogan, Ronnie Wilkes, Jeff Hall, Eddie Morris and Bruce Lake. Stanley Funeral Home & Crematory/ Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
