Memorial services for Sharon McNair Stokes, age 60 will be held at 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the residence of Billy Robin McNair at 115 Getty's Street, East Dublin, Georgia 31027. Rev. Ben Lumley will officiate. Mrs. Stokes was born on July 25, 1957 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Larmar and Dorothy Hutcheson McNair. She was retired from property management at Fickling and Walker, and from Walmart. She attended East Laurens High School. She loved spending time outdoors with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Stokes passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Serenity Place. Mrs. Stokes is survived by her 2 daughters, Holly McNair Walker of Tennille, and Casey Craig (Jesse) Steiger of East Dublin, a brother, Billy Robin McNair of East Dublin, 6 grandchildren, Harley (Kacie) Walker, Abigail Walker, Joshua Lindsey, Aleah Steiger, Kylie Steiger, and Rosemary Steiger, and 1 great-grandchild, Harley "H.J." Walker, Jr. The family asks in lieu of flowers that everyone attending the memorial service bring a covered dish so that everyone can have a meal together as a family. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
