Sheilah Lynn Olson Bryan, age 77, was born on January 10th, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia.
She grew up in Dublin, Georgia where she graduated from Dublin High School in 1962. She attended Stetson University and the University of Georgia as a Phi Mu. After marrying William J. "Bill" Bryan, she moved to Sandersville, raising two loving sons. In Sandersville, she was a homemaker and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. After her husband retired, they moved to Savannah, Georgia where she enjoyed many summers at the beach. In Savannah, Mrs. Bryan was a member of Wilmington Island United Methodist Church. Upon the passing of her husband, she moved back to Dublin to be with her son and his family. In Dublin, Mrs. Bryan attended Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed daily telephone prayer time with her close friends from Savannah, as well spending time with her sister and attending the many activities of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Bill" Bryan; a daughter, Stacey Bryan; her mother Frances Evelyn Clinkscales Olson, and her father William "Bill" Olson. Mrs. Bryan passed away Friday, October 21st, 2022 in her home.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Bryan (Clare) of Dublin; Michael Bryan (Trey Simmons) of Savannah; grandchildren Abby, Callan and Rhys Bryan of Dublin; sister Terri Olson Snipes (Earl) of Dublin, and nieces Brandi Cox (Pat), Cynthia Mickler (Bryce), and Sandy Snipes, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
