Sherrie Elaine Lewis

Graveside funeral services for Sherrie Elaine Lewis, age 64, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Northview Cemetery. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mrs. Lewis was born on July 12, 1958, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a graduate of Dublin High School and was a retired social worker. She was a member of Wellspring Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and caring person. She enjoyed gardening, watercolor painting, and spending time with those she loved. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Lord. Mrs. Lewis passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Lewis; two children, Kevin Lewis and Callie Lewis (Oliver Stephenson); mother, Grace Watson; brother, Chris Lord; sister, Carla Dean (David); two sisters- in-law, Sheila Sirmons (Wayne) and Vicki Lewis; one grandchild, Elijah Stephenson and numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
