Shirley A. Mccoy

A private graveside service for Mrs. Shirley A. McCoy will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chris Dixon officiating. Mrs. McCoy was born August 24, 1936 in Wrightsville, Ga. She lived in Dublin and worked in the spinning department at J.P. Stevens. She was a member of Gethsemane Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Jonah and Rozie Crawford, her husband of sixty-six years Bennie E. "Tumpie" McCoy, granddaughter Kayle Jump and brother Jimmy Crawford. Mrs. McCoy passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at Serenity Place. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her daughters Brenda Hilton of Dublin, Cindy Jump (Mike) of Ridgeway, Va, and Michele Williamson (Don) of Dublin, sister Charlotte Ivey of Wrightsville, grandchildren Neeli Barwick, Leigh Moore, Chad Jump, Blake Williamson and Logan Williamson, and great-grandchildren Coy Jump, Cannon Jump, Gamble Williamson, Caytlin Barwick, Carleigh Harris, Phillip Barwick, Brendan Moore, Allie Moore and Carter Moore. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Place, 504 Parker Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021 or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
