Steve Wayne Dougan, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.
He was born on February 16, 1969, in Princeton, Indiana. For many years he worked as a machinist at Pacific, HMC, and the last few years a traveling machinist for Flextrades.
Steve loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. His favorite adventures he took was a moose hunt, a bear hunt and a deep sea fishing trip he took with his daughter, McKenna. He loved spending time with his daughter, son in law and grandkids and visiting old friends when he was home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Alvin Dougan and Doris Jean Phillips, grandmother, Marjorie Dougan, Aunt, MaryAnn (Johnny) Gorman, uncle, James Johnson, cousin, Chad Kimpel, and sister, Jesica Tice.
He is survived by his daughter, McKenna Steffey and her husband Cole; and three grandchildren, Landon, Colson and Mavrie. Two brothers, James Dougan and Larry Tice, aunt, Linda (Malcolm) Kimpel, aunt, Delores Donahay and several lifelong friends, Brad, Tony, and Billy.
Mr. Dougan was memorialized by cremation. A celebration of life for Steve will be planned in Allendale, IL at a later date.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of arrangements.
