Services for Steven Earl Manley, 56, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Kenny Rowland, Rev. Chris Scott and Rev. Tommy Veal officiating. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Manley was born Nov. 15, 1960, in Dublin. A member of East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center, he was employed as a construction superintendent and was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Manley passed away Thursday, May 11 at Serenity Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Powell Manley of Dublin; parents, Earl and Sara Manley of Dublin; children, Shannon Manley of Dublin, Chris Channell Sr. of East Dublin, and Casey (Kelly) Loftin and Stacey (Kaylie) Loftin, both of Dublin; sister, Tammie (Gordon) Cartee of Madison; brothers Rodney (Holly) Manley of East Dublin, Russell (Melissa) Manley of Augusta and Greg (Kellie) Manley of Dexter; grandchildren Chris Channell Jr., Olivia Channell, Evan Channell, Lindsay Loftin, Lauren Loftin, Chloe Loftin, Angela Laycock and Lexi Laycock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Cartee, Josh Manley, Landon Manley, Curt Poole, Kip Poole and Shannon Claxton. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Powell, Chuck Fordham, Greg Shepard, Nathan Howard, Chip Smith, Matthew Manley, Sheriff Larry Dean and Gerson Pollard.
