Steven "Stebo" Silas Sheppard

Mr. Sheppard was born on March 16, 1953 in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late Lamar Truitt and Vonnie Lowell Wilson Sheppard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Lamar Sheppard. He was a Professional Musician, Iron Worker, and a Carpenter. Mr. Sheppard passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Serenity Place. Mr. Sheppard is survived by his brother, Terry (Gwen) Kight of Musella, several cousins, many friends from the Meeks Community, and 2 pets, G.G. and Brownie. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hutcheson, Kenny Powell, Howard Riner, Joe Jackson, Vaughn Wilson, and Verlon Coleman. Paul Coleman will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Sheppard to Corinth United Methodist Church at 1989 Meeks Road, Adrian, GA 31002. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
