Funeral services for Susie Lee Mullis Attaway, age 74 will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow at Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Attaway was born October 2, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Winnie Dixon. She was a seamstress for Dexter Sportswear and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Seaborn N.A. Attaway, sister Lizzie Dixon Giddens, and her first husband Olen "Buddy" Wallace Mullis. Mrs. Attaway passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Attaway is survived by her sons Kenneth Mullis of Dexter, Dennis (Lisa) Mullis of Dublin, Paul (Dana) Mullis of East Dublin, Scottie (Denise) Mullis of Dublin and Freddie (Jennifer Mobley) Mullis of Rentz, brothers James (Etta Mae) Dixon of Dublin and Bennie Dixon of Rentz, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
