Swain Pete Price

Graveside funeral services for Swain Pete Price, age 88, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. Pastor Donnie Daniels will officiate. Mr. Price was born on April 22, 1932 in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Willette Price. He served in the Army and was wounded in the Korean War and later retired from the Warner Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a materials expediter. He loved playing cards, gardening, feeding birds, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Price passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020. Mr. Price is survived by his son, Paul (Pepper) Price of Wrightsville, two grandchildren, Adam (Brittany) Price of Sandersville and Autumn (Scott) George of Tampa, FL, and two great-grandchildren, Bella and Hudson Price of Sandersville. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
