Syble Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Syble Lee Jones, age 71, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Trinity Assembly of God with interment to follow at the Sardis Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Sumner, Rev. Roger Holley and Rev. Allen Meeks will officiate. Mrs. Jones was born September 30, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Marvin Cecil Smith and Clara Mae Giles Smith, her twin brother, Marvin Cecil Smith. Jr. and a sister, Mildred Carter. She was retired as a seamstress from Biljo, Inc. and attended Trinity Assembly of God. Mrs. Jones passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Tammie Lynn McGahee of Lyons and Penny (Daryl) Sumner of Adrian, a brother, Carson (Geraldine) Smith of Dublin, a sister, Eurma (Lamar) Garrett of Dublin, five grandchildren, Nikki (Brian) Anderson of Lyons, Letasha (Jason) Giles of East Dublin, Joshua (Kacy) Warren of Meeks, Patrick (Elaine) Mimbs of Pooler and MiKayla Sumner of Adrian, five great-grandchildren, Atison Giles, Jason Giles, Jr., Jordyn Giles, Alex Lester and Alexis Warren, nieces & nephews, Kenneth (Donnette) Smith, Jesse Garrett, and Paula (Tony)Hayes all of Dublin and a great-niece, Ashley Smith. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Daryl Sumner, Jesse Garrett, Patrick Mimbs, Joshua Warren, Jason Giles, Ricky Sumner and Dean Sumner. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
