Tamara "Tana" Lyn Hicks

Graveside funeral services for Tamara "Tana" Lyn Hicks, 54, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Westview Cemetery, Wrightsville, Georgia with Pastor Mike Bankston officiating.

Hicks, Tamara "Tana" Lyn, 54, gained her wings on January 5, 2023 at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, Georgia. Ms. Hicks was born in Dekalb County, Georgia on September 23, 1968. She was an entrepreneur and owner of Southern Creations. She grew up in Tucker, Georgia and was a graduate of Tucker High School. Ms. Hicks attended Tucker First United Methodist Church in Tucker, Georgia and was an active member of Choir and Girls Softball Team in her youth and remained a member throughout her life. Ms. Hicks is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda K. Wells. She is survived by her daughter, Julia A. Hicks of Wrightsville, Georgia, her father, Wayne (Joy) Hicks of Wrightsville, Georgia, sisters, Traci (Jack) Moore of Gardner, Kansas, Michele Cerrito of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, brother, Shon Brown of Stone Mountain, Georgia and partner Billy Adams of Locust Grove, Georgia, one niece, Shelby Lyn Moore of Gardner, Kansas, nephews, Christopher King of California and Tyler King of Blairsville, Georgia. Ms. Hicks will be sorely missed by her family and a host of friends.
