Tammy Jean Mccoy

Memorial services for Mrs. Tammy Jean McCoy, age 61, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Warnock officiating. Mrs. McCoy was born on October 16, 1959 in Central Falls, RI to the late Armand Racine and Rhea Emery Racine. Mrs. McCoy moved to Johnson County 19 years ago from Homestead, Florida. She was a member of the National Technical Honor Society, a published poet, and a cancer survivor. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. McCoy passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her home. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her husband, Shawn McCoy, Wrightsville, two daughters, Shanda Edwards, Nashville, TN, and Crystal Chofay, Foster, RI, two sisters, Lori Castonguay and Dawn Brunelle, of Woonsocket, RI, and two grandchildren, Alex Rogers and Collin Helms. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or CASA. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
