Mr. Timothy Paul Shepherd Services for Mr. Timothy Paul Shepherd will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton. Burial will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County. The Reverend Walter Handley and Reverend Jim Fennell will officiate. Mr. Shepherd died Saturday morning, August 6, 2016. Mr. Shepherd, 63, was the son of Faye Bush Shepherd and the late Paul Shepherd. He was born in Dublin, GA, was a graduate of East Laurens High School Class of 1970 and the owner/operator of Shepherd Construction. He was a member of Central Drive Baptist Church in East Dublin. Survivors include his wife Joy Shepherd of Dublin; daughter, Jodie Shepherd (Richard Golphin); brother, Terry (Janet) Shepherd of Dublin; sister, Sandra (Larry) Crawford of Dublin; mother, Faye Shepherd of Dublin; three grandchildren, Davin Jackson, Dinah Jackson and Zane Golphin; three brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Carol) Britt, Tommy Lumley and Jerry (Brenda) Lumley; sister-in-law, Jan Lumley; aunts and uncles Carol & Marvin Tanner, Ann Higgs, Bobby & Pat Bush and Charlie & JoAnn Bush; cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Home in Dublin. Higgs Funeral Home (higgsfuneralhomeandflorist.com) of Soperton and Stanley Funeral Home of Dublin has charge of arrangements.
