Tommy R. Brown

Mr. Tommy R. Brown, age 77, of Rentz, passed away Wednesday, October, 25, 2017. He was born in Eagan, Tennessee on December 11, 1939. Mr. Brown was from St. Louis, Missouri, before moving to Laurens County, and was a member of Rentz Baptist Church. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Homer Brown and his mother, Irene Shelton Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from National Life and Accident Insurance company, Director of GRFA and a housing inspector for MCLB marine base in Albany, Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1962, stationed in Germany. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joanne Brown, by daughters, Melani Clanton of East Dublin and Ava Beckwith of Forest, Virginia, and by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Private services will be conducted by the family. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/ Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
