Tony Alfred Boone

Memorial Services for Tony Alfred Boone, age 81 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2019 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with visitation from 2:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. prior to the service. Mr. William Horace Scott will officiate. Mr. Boone was born January 31, 1938 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Carl and Delphia Boone Glenn. He was retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base where he worked in Logistics for 30 years. He served in the United States Army and the Georgia National Guard. He was a Barber, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Boone passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Boone is survived by his loving wife, Helen Brown Boone of Dublin, 3 sons, Britt Anthony (Shelia) Boone of Leesburg, Brian Alfred Boone of Albany, and Barry Andrew Boone of Dublin, 2 brothers, C.E. Glenn of Bath, SC, and Kirk Glenn of Atlanta, a favorite aunt, Mary Jo Purser, 2 grandchildren, Baylor Boone, and Bethany Boone and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Boone to Serenity Hospice at 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
