Tyrone Warren Penney

Tyrone Warren Penney, 49, of Dublin passed away on September 28, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. He was the youngest son of Tony and the late Joan Priest Penney of Dublin and was born on March 2, 1967. Tyrone was a lifelong citizen of Dublin, graduating from Dublin High School in 1985. He was a third generation carpenter who took pride in his work, using his God-given skills to the best of his ability. While he loved to fish, he loved to cook even more as well as spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving father Tony Penney, children Megan Parrish(Johnathan), Amanda Parker(Josh), Ben Mimbs, grandchild Isaiah Parrish, devoted siblings- Simone Presley(Paul), brothers Kyle Penney(Jenny) and Kurt Penney(Deborah). Tyrone had many friends of whom we are so thankful for, especially those that cared for him in his last days. From the many visits, the food and shoulders to lean on, you are all loved and appreciated beyond words. May God bless each and every one of you for your efforts to help comfort him. Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
