Vera A Walker

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Vera A. Walker, age 95 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. David Walker will officiate. Mrs. Walker was born on October 4, 1919 in Rapid City, South Dakota. She has lived in Dublin for the past 64 years. She was a preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walker, a daughter, Geneva Pedrick, 2grandsons, Keith Pedrick, and Ricky Cofield, 2 sons-in-law, Walter Cofield and Donnie Taylor. Mrs. Walker passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Shamrock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Walker is survived by her son, David (Terri) Walker of Warner Robins, a daughter, Patsy Walker Cofield of Dublin, 4 grandchildren, Tommy Cofield, Kristin Vargas, Trish Powell, and Jan Pedrick, a great grandchild, Reina Vargas, and a friend, Robin Thompson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 17, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
