Vernie Sue Woodis

Memorial services for Vernie Sue Lane Woodis, age 68 will be held at a later date. Mrs. Woodis was born December 11, 1950 in Brunswick, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Harden and Delores Elizabeth Boatright Lane. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Woodis. She has lived in Laurens County for the past three years. Mrs. Woodis passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Woodis is survived by her 4 sons, William Keene of Jessup, Robert Spradley of Blackshear, Gerald Keene of Blackshear, and Daniel Keene of Dover Bluff, 2 daughters, Amanda Groover of Folkston, and Rebecca Barnett of Blackshear, a brother, James H. Lane of Dublin, and a sister, Doris Louise Bunkley of Dublin. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
