Victor "Gus" Augustus Harden

Funeral services for Victor "Gus" Augustus Harden, age 24 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Paul Wilkes and Rev. Cole Morris will officiate. Gus was born on December 10, 1990 in Dublin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Keith Harden. He was a graduate of West Laurens High School where he was a member of the Wrestling Team. He was employed as a Bander Operator for Gilman Paper Company. He was huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Gus passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Fairview Park Hospital. Gus is survived by his wife, Amber Harden of Dexter, his parents, Mark and Barbara Harden of Glenwood, paternal grandmother, Laura Nell Wood Harden of Glenwood, maternal grandparents, Victor and Willsene Andrews of Eastman, 2 sisters, Megan Sutton of Glenwood, and Beth Mullis of Dexter, and a host of nieces and nephews, Breanna Durden, Brent Durden, Bryson Sutton, Laura Beth Mullis, Jaelynn Mullis, Graham Little, Christopher Knight, Allison Horning, and George Stewart. Pallbearers will be Trae Berryhill, Jacob Dominy, Kyle Mullis, Dustin Mullis, Tyler Gay, Josh Sutton, Josh Mullis, and Adam Faulk. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
