Virginia Ferrell Frost

Funeral services for Virginia Ferrell Frost, age 76, will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Wrightsville with burial at Riddleville Baptist Church Cemetery in Riddleville, Georgia. Rev. Curtis Sumner and Rev. M.D. Cabe will officiate. Ms. Frost was born September 20, 1942 in Johnson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaynor and Idoma Wilkerson Ferrell, her husband, William (Billy) Frost, her siblings (Ernest Wilkerson, Nell Powell, Fannie Lou Johnson, Truman (Bobby) Ferrell, Earl Ferrell, and Edison Ferrell), and her son-in-law, Terry Winfrey. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was retired from Apparelcraft. Virginia dedicated many hours of service to the Johnson County Senior Citizens Center where she served as both a member and volunteer. She was very devoted to her entire family, but she enjoyed her role as "Grandmommy" most. Ms. Frost passed away at her residence Sunday, July 28, 2019. She is survived by her children, Daryl & Vicki Frost of Sandersville and Joy Frost Winfrey of Kite. She is also survived by her grandchildren (Jordan Frost, Lacy Frost, Craig & Amanda Winfrey, Brandon & Rana Winfrey, and Bryson & Taylor Rowland), great-grandchildren (Mary Grace Winfrey, Callie Mae Winfrey, Maddox Quinn Winfrey, and Tinley Winn Rowland), and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Paul Ferrell, David Ferrell, Tim Hall, Curt Poole, Kip Poole, Ryan Garnto, Chris Channell, Casey Loftin, Stacey Loftin and Shannon Claxton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Hillcrest Baptist Church and her special friends from the Senior Citizens Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church c/o Kerald Kight, 62 Chester Dr, Wrightsville, GA 31096 or the Johnson County Senior Citizens Center, 108 Hilton Holton St, Wrightsville, GA 31096.
