Virginia Catherine Orr

Funeral services for Virginia Catherine Orr, age 77 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Rev. Wes Pinkley will officiate. Mrs. Orr was born November 14, 1944, in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of the late Norman Jones and Virginia Manis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Ellis Orr. She was a retired administrative assistant for Allstate Insurance Company. She loved arts and crafts and playing cards with her friends. She attended Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and was involved in various woman's ministries throughout her life. Mrs. Orr passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Orr is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Michael) Dukes; a brother, Ron (Linda) Jones; and 2 grandchildren, Christopher Dukes and Andrew Dukes. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
