Virginia Mary Twiss

Graveside services for Virginia Mary Twiss, age 74, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Northview Cemetery. Mrs. Twiss was born on November 23, 1946 in Troy, New York. She was the daughter of the late John Paul St. Denis and Catherine Long St. Denis. For 15 years she worked for the government in the state of New York and retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center after 24 years. Virginia was the rock upon which her family was built. She went to school for accounting while raising two children and working full time. She raised her family to a better place and left her grandchildren positioned to do great things. She was an amazing woman whose legacy will last generations. She was loved by all and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Roy Twiss. Mrs. Twiss passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Twiss is survived by her children, LTC (R) Donald Roy Twiss and wife Maria Ann Twiss of Holland, MI, Virginia Mary Twiss of Dublin, and Mark Kelly St. Denis and wife Shelly St. Denis of Troy, NY, her brothers, John Paul St. Denis, Eddie St. Denis, Jimmy St. Denis, Joey St. Denis, Bobby St. Denis, Jeffery St. Denis, and Mark St. Denis, and her grandchildren, Sara, Michael, Tyler, Alex, Cody, Kyle, and Josh. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
