Vivian Hood

Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Rowland Hood, age 59, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Liberty Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate. Mrs. Hood was born March 21, 1958 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Allen J. Rowland and Christine Lord Rowland. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Home Instead. Mrs. Hood passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Hood of Wrightsville, two sons, Rodney (Kristie) Hood of Swainsboro and Shannon (Katy) Hood of Wrightsville, a brother, Spencer Rowland of Wrightsville, three sisters, Wanda (Larry) Reese, Mary Helen Rowland and Margie Wyatt all of Wrightsville, six grandchildren and a special friend, Mandy Carter Rudd. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Madison Hood, Peyton Hood, Ed Mason, Shelton Smith, Herbert Hall and Jimmy Bailey. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
