Walter Anthony Helms

Mr. Walter Anthony Helms, age 68, of East Dublin, formerly of Waverly passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Helms was born on May 29, 1952 in Americus, Georgia. He was the son of C. H. and Nelta Helms. Walter was a former electrician with Georgia Pacific Gypsum Plant in Brunswick. He was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church. Mr. Helms is survived by his wife Sharon Harrison Helms, daughters Kerri (Chris) Sercer and Kelly Helms-Hall, stepchildren Jason (Mandy) Riner and Allison (James) Stinson, and brother Paul (Sandie) Helms. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
