Warnell Leslie Mullis

Graveside funeral services for Warnell Lessie Mullis, age 90 will be held at2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Marie Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mrs. Mullis was born on August 23, 1927 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Julian and Mattie Mae Couey Powell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester William Mullis, and her children, Donald Mullis, Bobby Mullis, and Robbie Mullis. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed greatly. She was a member of Reedy Springs Baptist Church. She was a self-employed restaurant owner. Mrs. Mullis passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2017 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Mullis is survived by her 3 sons, Jim (Susan) Mullis of Galveston, TX, Sam Mullis of Dublin, and Rick (Sandra) Mullis of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements. .
