Wayne Franklin Yancey

Graveside funeral services for Wayne Franklin Yancey, age 84 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Cole Morris will officiate.

Mr. Yancey was born July 23, 1938, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Thomas A. and Wilma Florence Yancey. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Yancey, Bill Yancey, Don Yancey, Beatrice Sheffield, and George Yancey. He was a retired repair man for Yancey Appliance Repair. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Yancey passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Yancey is survived by his niece, Rita Yancey Phillips of East Dublin; 2 nephews, Ray (Sara) Yancey of Rentz, and Darryl (Sharon) Yancey of Dublin; a sister, Blanche "Flossie" Land of Macon; numerous great nieces, great nephews; his little noses great-great nieces, and great-great nephews, and a beloved cat, Lilly.
