Funeral services for Wendell Ronnie Lawrence, Sr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 17, 2021, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Tom Akins will officiate. Mr. Lawrence was born February 23, 1948, in Macon, Georgia. He was the son of the late Roger Marion and Betty Lucille Webb Lawrence, Sr. He was a farmer. Mr. Lawrence passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Faye Lawrence of Kite, 3 sons, Wendell Ronnie (Tammie) Lawrence of Dublin, David (Sherrie) Lawrence of Wrightsville, and Corey (Brandy) Lawrence of Cartersville, a brother, Jerry Lawrence of Kite, and 8 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
