William "Bill" Herbert Wood

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with barbeque provided for William "Bill" Herbert Wood will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the family farm located at 146 Hillbridge Road, Dexter, Georgia 31019.

Mr. Wood was born March 19, 1951, in Albany, Georgia. He was the son of the late Randall and Pat Musselwhite Wood. He was a heavy mechanic for TEC. He was a member of Connection Church Dublin. Mr. Wood went to meet his Lord, Jesus Christ Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Pettis Wood of Dexter, 1 son; Charles Casey Freis of Elko, a daughter; Kelly Brook Freis of Elko, a stepson; Charles Lee Gaddis of Snellville, a brother, Albert Randall "A.R." (Sandy) Wood of Robbinsville, NC, 2 sisters; Joan McDermott of Rockmart, and Cathy (Len E.) Baker of Union, KY, 5 grandchildren; Tristan C. Freis, Preston E. Freis, Heather R. (Jason) Orr, Hayden (Morgan) Wilson, and Jakub (Alexis) Roberts, and 5 great-granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Connection Church of Dublin's "GeneroCity Initiative", 124 S. Monroe St, Dublin GA 31021 or to the ABC Women's Clinic, P.O. Box 1927, Dublin GA 31040.
