William Chevere

Memorial Services for William Chevere, age 68 will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Dublin Bible Church. Pastor Chad Zueck will officiate. Floral arrangements can be delivered to Dublin Bible Church the day of the service. Mr. Chevere was born December 29, 1952, in Manhattan, New York. He was the son of the late Concepcion Vasquez. He has lived in Laurens County for the past 18 years coming from Plainfield, Illinois. He was a noble, generous, self-sacrificing to family, friends, and his community. He was a jack of all trades and master of all. He built his home in Arizona on his own and addition to current home. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for Laurens County. He was retired with 25 years from the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons. Mr. Chevere passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Serenity Place. Mr. Chevere is survived by his wife, Awilda Chevere of Dublin; a son, Christian Chevere of Dublin; 4 daughters, Katherine (Dominic) Serafano of Grand Prairie, TX, Delilah (Anthony) Thomas of Dublin, Desiree (Steven) Cady of Dublin, and Jasmine Chevere of Dublin; 4 brothers, Frank Chevere, Angel (Carmen) Chevere, Jose Chevere, and Luis (Iris) Chevere; and 10 grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
