William Eugene Fordham

Funeral services for William Eugene Fordham, age 69, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Marie Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate. Mr. Fordham was retired from Dublin City Schools. Since retiring he had started a landscaping business in the county. He was a member of Marie Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend. He was never a biological father but a father to many. Mr. Fordham was preceded in death by his parents, J.M. "Skeet" Fordham and Allie Wyatt Fordham. He passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 of natural causes. He is survived by his brothers, J.M. "Joe" (Janice) Fordham, Jr. and Dr. Jackson Fordham of Dublin, nephews Marc (Quinn) Fordham of Atlanta, and Michael Fordham of Dublin, niece McKinley (Josh) Gardner of Dublin, great nephews Mac Fordham and Cope Fordham of Atlanta, and great nieces Libby Gardner, Ramsey Gardner, and Mary Abbott Gardner of Dublin, and special friend Brenda Jackson. Pallbearers will be Marc Fordham, Michael Fordham, John Strickland, Jr., Dallas Christian, Johnny Hall, Johnny Pittman, David Smith, and Andy Wright. The family will receive friends at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday evening from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. They may also be contacted at 112 Creekview Circle, Dublin, GA.
