William Louis Gay

Funeral services for William Louis Gay, age 60 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Rusty Brown, Rev. Rick Tooley, Rev. Greg Lowery and Mr. Larry Brewer will officiate. Mr. Gay was born on August 16, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Cecil and Nelline Stevens Gay. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Whatley. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was retired as Carpenter for Randy Clark Construction Company. Mr. Gay passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Gay is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Gay of Cadwell, a son, Toby (Amy) Gay of Dublin, a daughter, Stacy (Jay) Lowery of Cadwell, a brother, Clenton (Robin) Gay of Raiford, FL, and 4 grandchildren, Jacob (Kayton) Brown, Abi Brown, Cami Gay, and Kyler Gay. Pallbearers will be Larry "Pee Wee" Upshaw, Jeff Upshaw, Danny Evans, Darron Rowe, Ralph Brown, and Dwayne Smith. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
