William Edward Jones

Memorial services for William Edward Jones, age 77 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. The service will be livestreamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/william-jones-2022 Mr. Jones was born February 5, 1945, in Bownemont, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Austin Harold and Virginia Sheckler Jones. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jon Paul Jones. He was a radiographer for East Georgia Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Dublin Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mr. Jones passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Gail Jones of Dublin, a son Forrest (Allyson) Jones of Allentown, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Jones of Statesboro, a brother, Austin H. Jones of Point Pleasant, WV, and 3 grandchildren, Austin Jones, Kayla Jones, and Cody Griggers. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the building fund of the Dublin Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 122 Trinity Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021.
