William Stanley Mason

Funeral services for William Stanley Mason, age 64, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Hall officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Mason was born on October 15, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia. Stanley was known to his family and friends as "Ting". He was a United States Navy veteran and was a retired Correctional Officer. He loved being outdoors working in the yard or working on cars. He was a loving son, brother, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Mason, and his brothers, Jeff Mason and James Mason. Mr. Mason passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Jackie Mason, mother, Allie Dean Mason, step children, David Brent Lyles and Miranda Lyles Carswell (Jermaine), and sister, Susan Bailey (Greg) all of Wrightsville, a brother, Edward Mason (Debbie) of Harleyville, S.C., four grandchildren, Alyssa, Lexi, Kaylee, and Jersi, great grandchild, Landrey, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Thursday at the church. Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect and mask will be required by those attending as we are following the guidelines of the local health district and the CDC. Pallbearers will be Christopher Bailey, Christopher Mason, Wesley Mason, Greg Rowland, Luke Mason and David Barnes. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
