William Randall Raburn

Funeral services for William "Randy" Randall Raburn, age 62 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Poplar Springs South Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel and Rev. Lewis Miller will officiate. Mr. Raburn was born March 16, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Lester Watson and Althea Davis Raburn. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Raburn. He has lived in Pinehurst Group Home in Statesboro for the past 30 years. Mr. Raburn passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Serenity Place. Mr. Raburn is survived by his brother, David (Linda) Raburn of Dublin, his sister, Phyllis (Gamble) Shannon of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mark Davidson, Rodney Shannon, Joel Blackburn, Rhett Carter, Mike Rowe, and Evan Rowe. The Pinehurst Group Home in Stateboro will serve as Honorary Escort. The family will receive friends from 12:45 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Poplar Springs South Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
