William Randall Tapley

William Randall Tapley, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Washington County Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Tapley was born on June 30, 1954, in Sandersville, Georgia and has lived in Kite, Georgia for many years. He worked in the logging industry for many years and was employed with Bennie Powell Logging. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.W. and Mary Katherine Tapley, and his brother, Bennett Wesley Tapley, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Renae Sweat of Davisboro, 2 sons, Jason Tapley of Valdosta and Randy Peebles of Cookeville, TN, siblings, Pam (Bill) Mathis of Dublin, Teresa (Duncan) McEachern of Dublin, Oliver Tapley of Kite and Wayne (Pam) Tapley of Kite, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
