William Ray Topping, Iii

Memorial services for William Ray "Bill" Topping, III, age 63, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Eastman, Ga. Rev. Robert Marina will officiate.

Mr. Topping was born on April 28, 1961, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army and loved his country. He worked in sales for many years and formerly worked for Maco Sales of Dublin. He loved all sports, and his favorite teams were the Florida Gators and the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and spending time with them while teaching them about life and the Bible. He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Topping, Jr. and Saundra Powell Franklin, and brother, Emmitt Alexander Topping, Sr. Bill passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his son, William Ray "Billy" Topping, IV (Taylor) of Rentz; his special friend, Lajoy Killingsworth; stepsons, Tarl Killingsworth of Dublin and Tony Killingsworth of Pinellas County, FL; brothers, Craig Topping, Sr. (Vicky) of Like Oak, FL, Michael Topping, Sr. (Delores) of Dumfries, VA, Jeffrey Topping, Sr. (Anne) of Bloomdale, OH, and Timothy Topping (Tiffany) of Live Oak, FL; sister, Cheryl Young of Partlow, VA; sister-in-law, Heather Topping of Murfreesboro, TN; and 4 grandchildren, Ella Rae Killingsworth, Colby Luke Mimbs, Charleigh Claire Pittman and William Ray Topping, V.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 836 Poplar Springs Church Rd, Eastman, GA. Floral arrangements can be delivered to the church on the day of the service.
