Willie Anthony Parr

Funeral services for Willie Anthony Parr, 59, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 19, 2022, in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel with Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton, Georgia.

Mr. Parr was born on September 19, 1963, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a lifelong resident of Wrightsville and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hobbs Contracting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Everett Parr and Dorothy Knight Parr, and his wife, Barbara Sue Parr. Mr. Parr passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his brother, Wade Parr of Wrightsville, and two sisters, Rebecca Lynn Miller of Carrollton and Vickie Broadus of Oldsmar, FL.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home.
