Funeral services for Winifred Douglas Jackson Webb, age 95 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville, Georgia. Rev. Robert Webb will officiate.
Mrs. Webb was born October 5, 1926, in Meeks, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Millard Lon and Luck Henry Douglas. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Reese Griffin Jackson, and her husband of 15 years, Charles William "C.W." Webb, her son, Douglas Frank Jackson, a daughter-in-law, Debra James Jackson, and her brother, Emory J. Douglas. She was a homemaker. She was an active member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Macon for 50 years. She was a member of the Parent Teacher Association where she served as President and National P.T.A. Life Member, Macon Bibb County Cancer Society, Macon Chamber of Commerce Political Committee, Macon Bibb County Cherry Blossom Festival Committee, City of Macon Ambassador, President's White House Conference of Ageing since 1995. Mrs. Webb passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Magnolia Hospice of Macon.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her daughter, Alicia Hope (Brad) Joyner, 2 grandchildren, Araya Jacqueline Jackson, and Douglas Reese Jackson, 6 great grandchildren, Stevie Winn Joyner, Ruby Alyssa Joyner, Bradley Kevin Joyner, Jr., Julia Catherine Joyner, Sarah Elizabeth Joyner, and Caden Jackson, and 2 nieces, Jill Douglas, and Kim Smith.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the funeral home.
