Important Notice:
EFFECTIVE August 5, 2020
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/ Dublin Chapel and Wrightsville Chapel is dedicated to serving our beloved communities to the best of our capability.
We have remained in close communication with local, state and national authorities and are fully aware of the increase in Covid -19 cases in Laurens and Johnson County. We are following the recommendations concerning Covid-19 and social distancing during this health crisis. The Federal Government, CDC, the Georgia Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association have given guidelines to follow and certainly this affects gatherings including visitations and funeral services. Because these are constantly changing, we will make each family aware of the current guidelines as we are notified of a death. We will be scheduling only one family gathering in our facility at a time and will need additional time to thoroughly clean our facilities following each gathering. We will still be available for Pre-need Appointments just give our office a call.
We will work with each family within the CDC guidelines to be as accommodating to their wishes as possible. As for funerals and memorial services they will be limited to family only events or 50 people or less, or graveside services with Social Distancing Practiced. We ask that visitations be limited to family only or private non-public viewings with 50 people or less. We also will require for visitors to wear a mask at all times while in our facility. We ask that if you have had a fever or have been sick please refrain from coming into our facility. We strongly encourage that you don't shake hands or hug. We also encourage everyone to visit www.stanleyfuneralhome.com to read the obituary, send your online condolence, share a memory, or watch a Video Memorial Tribute.
We remain dedicated to offering a safe environment to the families we serve and will always give the utmost dignity and respect to whose life we are celebrating. However, we must also work to maintain the health and well-being of our families, friends, our staff and community.
Your health and our ability to serve you are responsibilities that we do not take lightly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in our community, especially the families experiencing a loss during this most difficult time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but look forward to things hopefully getting back to normal as soon as possible.
